Lee Brice's latest single, "I Don't Dance," has had quite a journey to prominence. The singer tells Rolling Stone Country the song was written for personal use only, for the first dance for him and his wife Sara at their wedding. But Lee says he realized the song had hit potential, so he not only decided to release it but made it the title track to his next album.
The country star also admits the sentiment is true. While he calls Sara "an amazing dancer" he says he finds dancing "intimidating." Still, Brice says he'll do it "just for her."
Brice adds that naming his entire album I Don't Dance is his way of identifying himself as an outsider, and someone who won't "dance in the box of Nashville." Lee's album I Don't Dance will be in stores on September 9th.
