Minneapolis, MN - According NFL Insider Jay Glazer the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms of a deal that will send Percy Harvin to the Seattle Seahawks in return for draft picks in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Harvin and the Vikings seemed to have hit a crossroads during the 2012 season and ironically, much of that took place in front of the cameras on the sidelines in Seattle in week 9. Harvin was seen yelling at head coach Leslie Frazier during the Vikings loss to the Seahawks and reportedly the altercation carried into the locker room after the game.

Harvin, who is entering the final season of his rookie contract, will rejoin former Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell who was part of the Vikings staff who drafted Harvin in 2009.

Harvin is reportedly on his way to Seattle now for a physical that will make the deal official.

UPDATE 12:10pm - The timing of this deal is important as the Vikings surely wanted to make some sort of move before the free agency period opens up tomorrow at 3pm. Now that this move has been made, I would not be surprised if the Vikings dove hard into the race for one of the top three free agent receivers (Mike Wallace, Greg Jennings and Wes Welker).

UPDATE 12:37pm - Jay Glazer is now reporting that the Vikings will get Seattle's 1st round and 7th round picks in 2013 as well as a mid-round selection in 2014.

UPDATE 1:16pm - Twitter is literally going crazy so I lost the source tweet with this information, but to put this trade in context, the last three big wide receivers to be traded got this in return. Brandon Marshall, two third round picks. Santonio Holmes, a fifth round pick. Anquan Boldin, a third and a fourth round pick. Again, according to Glazer, the Vikings are getting a 1st & 7th in 2013 and a mid round (4th/5th) in 2014!

Stay tuned for more information as the story develops...
